According to Marc Stein, the Memphis Grizzlies are the leading candidates to sign Anthony Tolliver once the NBA's transaction window opens on Tuesday.
Tolliver has played for three teams this season - the Trailblazers (34 games), Kings (nine games), and most recently, the Grizzlies (five games) where he signed a 10-day contract on March 2, 2020. While multiple teams are interested in signing the 11-year veteran, the Grizzlies appear to have the edge and plan to resign Tolliver as early as Tuesday. Tolliver will serve as bench depth for the Grizzlies and can be ignored for fantasy purposes.
Portland is trading Anthony Tolliver to Sacramento, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Blazers are looking to trim salary and traded Kent Bazemore and Tolliver which helped save $12.3 million on the deal. Tolliver has had a small role with Portland this year and does not look like he will get much playing time with Sacramento and can be left on the waiver wire.
Anthony Tolliver scored three points on 1-for-2 shooting with two rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer over 17 minutes as the Blazers lost to the Mavericks on Friday.
Tolliver has found a role in the rotation for the Blazers but it is a small one. The veteran big man is averaging just 4.7 points with 4.7 rebounds over 18.3 minutes in nine games in January and can be left on the waiver wire.
Anthony Tolliver scored 16 points on 7-for-8 shooting with 11 rebounds, one assist and two three-pointers in 21 minutes Monday in the win against the Hornets.
Tolliver had his most productive game of the season but the veteran big man has struggled to find playing time and that trend should continue with Hassan Whiteside back from an illness. Tolliver should only be owned in deeper fantasy leagues.
Anthony Tolliver scored seven points on 3-for-10 shooting with 11 rebounds, one three-pointer, and two assists in 28 minutes during Saturday's 122-101 loss to the Bucks.
Tolliver picked up the start in place of Hassan Whiteside, who has been ruled out due to an upper respiratory illness. The veteran big man had a solid game but will head back to the bench when Whiteside comes back and is not worth owning in fantasy.
