Bryn Forbes lights a fire under his team with eight threes in win

Bryn Forbes collected 24 points (8-13 FG, 8-11 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two assists and one rebound in a 120-118 win versus Phoenix.

Fantasy Impact

Forbes absolutely shot the lights out on Monday night in Phoenix. He connected with eight threes which accounted for all 24 of his points. He didn't really provide much else in the way of multi-category success, but the few owners who called Forbes' number were remarkably rewarded on Monday. This is still a large outlier and Forbes is not a name to seek out just yet.

Bryn Forbes struggles from the field in Sunday’s win

Bryn Forbes managed two points (0-5 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT) across 16 minutes in Sunday's 107-102 win over the Heat.

Fantasy Impact

Forbes was ice cold from the field and failed to contribute in any category in Sunday’s win. He has struggled recently, scoring single digits in six of his last nine games. Forbes is averaging 8.9 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.9 triples during the stretch. The 26-year old can be held onto in deep-league formats, but is fringe option in standard leagues. Forbes will look to turn things around in Monday’s tilt against the Suns.

Bryn Forbes spiritless in tough loss to Atlanta

Bryn Forbes produced just seven points (2-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in a 121-120 loss at home.

Fantasy Impact

Forbes' Friday night amounted to very little as his team coughed up a lead late in the fourth. Forbes was chilly shooting-wise, only converting at a 22 percent rate. Forbes isn't a player that provides much other than the occasional double-digit scoring outburst. Additionally, if he's not producing against the Hawks, who are 24th this season in defensive efficiency, he's likely not the player you want to take a flyer on.

Bryn Forbes scores 11 in Wednesday's loss

Bryn Forbes accumulated 11 points (4-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt), two assists, one rebound and a steal over 26 minutes in the Spurs’ 106-100 loss to the Heat on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

It was a typical day at the office for Forbes, who provided a stat line very similar to his season averages. On the year, the Michigan State product is averaging 11.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 triples and 1.8 dimes while shooting respectably from the floor, the free-throw line and beyond the arc. He's not doing enough to warrant 12-team consideration right now, but some extended run in the starting five could push him in that direction. He's a deep-league guy at the moment.

Bryn Forbes scores 15 in win over Boston Wednesday

Bryn Forbes compiled 15 points (5-10 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists, three rebounds and two steals across 25 minutes in the Spurs win over the Celtics Wednesday night.

Fantasy Impact

Forbes played well Wednesday, both scoring and facilitating as well as pitching in on the defensive end. Despite this performance, Forbes is to stay off of mostly all fantasy radars.
