Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman (ankle) has been ruled out Monday vs the Pacers
The Cavs have ruled out Kevin Love (rest), Darius Garland (ankle), Cedi Osman (ankle), and Isaiah Hartenstein (head) on Monday in the second leg of a back-to-back. In Sunday's loss, Collin Sexton and Isaac Okoro combined for 34 field goal attempts, and both players will once again benefit from additional usage.
Cedi Osman (ankle) carries a doubtful tag into Sunday's clash versus the Mavericks.
Osman was originally listed as questionable but has been called doubtful by head coach J.B. Bickerstaff. If Osman can't go, Damyean Dotson should see an uptick in usage on Sunday.
Cedi Osman racked up 22 points (8-19 FG, 2-10 3PT, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and four turnovers in Friday night's defeat to Dallas.
Osman has played great basketball since late April, scoring in double figures in each of his last six contests. It's primarily due to Darius Garland being sidelined, who remains without a timetable to return. Osman was a player worth rostering in all formats in the beginning of the season, then became waiver wire material, and is now back to being a serviceable asset. Fantasy owners should feel good about deploying him in lineups until Garland returns to the court.
Cedi Osman compiled 15 points (6-13 FG, 2-7 3PT, 1-1 FT), seven boards, 11 assists, one steal, and five turnovers in Saturday's defeat to Miami.
Osman scored in double figures in his third straight contest, and has now dropped five double-digit scoring performances in his last seven games. Additionally, his 11 assists established a new career-high. He's still difficult to trust in lineups due to his volatility, but would become a must-add in the event where multiple key starters are sidelined or even shut down.
Cedi Osman pitched in 15 points (7-11 FG, 0-2 3PT, 1-1 FT), three boards, seven assists, one steal, one block, and four turnovers in Sunday's defeat to the Pelicans.
This was Osman's first double-digit scoring game since March 10th, and he took advantage with several key teammates out tonight. He would only become fantasy relevant again in a scenario like this one, so he's best left on the waiver wire.
