Eligibility
Chandler Hutchison will miss the rest of the season after undergoing season-ending surgery on his shoulder.
Fantasy Impact
Hutchison has missed the last ten games with the injury and will now be shut down for the season. The return of Lauri Markkanen and Otto Porter, along with the emergence of Coby White, make this nearly a moot point for the Bulls at this point.
Chandler Hutchinson (shoulder) will not play Thursday’s game against the Hornets.
Fantasy Impact
Hutchinson has been dealing with a shoulder injury since the beginning of January, but has played through it. The injury will keep him out at least one game. His next chance to return will be Saturday’s tilt against the Suns. Look for Shawn Harrison and Ryan Arcidiacono to see an uptick in minutes with Hutchinson sidelined.
Chandler Hutchison scored five points (2-9 FG, 1-2 3PT, 0-2 FT) with seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal over 31 minutes of Sunday’s loss in Philadelphia.
Fantasy Impact
Hutchison might fall into a few useable games getting around 30 minutes a game for an injury plagued Bulls team, but it won’t be enough to warrant consistent fantasy production. With the break coming up and the Bulls working to get healthy you can leave Hutchison on the wire.
Chandler Hutchison scored 18 points (6-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-8 FT), grabbed eight rebounds, stole two balls, and had one assist over 32 minutes in Thursday's 125-119 loss to the Pelicans.
Fantasy Impact
The second-year forward out of Boise State got his second consecutive start and eighth of the season on Thursday. Over his last two contests he's averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and one assist. While those numbers won't win you your league, it's good to see him producing when given the opportunity. He should retain his starting role Sunday against the 76er's.
Chandler Hutchison scored 17 points (5-13 FG, 1-4 3PT, 6-9 FT) with five rebounds, one assist, and one steal over 27 minutes of Sunday’s loss to the Raptors.
Fantasy Impact
Hutchison should see 25 plus minutes a game for as long as Kris Dunn (knee) is out, so monitor Dunn’s status before the Bulls’ next game on Thursday. With starter minutes Hutchison could prove useful for points and steals but keep in mind he offers little help in other categories, especially assists averaging 0.8 assists per game over 25 games. He is more of a wait and see type of player.
