Heat forward Chris Silva has been ruled questionable for Friday's game against Toronto with a hip injury.

It is not clear how he suffered the injury, but Silva played just five minutes on Saturday and has not stepped foot on the court in each of the last two games. It seems as if he has fallen out of the Heat's rotation as they start to get some players back from injuries and the health protocols.

Chris Silva scored four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT), while adding four rebounds, three assists and one block across 12 minutes in the Heat's 125-119 overtime loss against the Cavaliers on Monday night.

Silva was forced into game action tonight, as Kelly Olynyk picked up two early fouls in the first quarter. He produced a well-rounded stat line in his 12 minutes played. Silva rarely logs game time, he is not a recommended option going forward and he should remain on the waiver wire.

Silva has logged only 11 total minutes played for the month of January, only a rash of injuries to the Heat front court would provide him some consistent minutes. He is not a fantasy option for the foreseeable future.
