Nuggets forward JaMychal Green had a nice game on Saturday night, scoring 16 points (4-8 FG, 2-6 3-pt, 6-6 FT) to go with five rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes during a 120-112 double-overtime win over the Suns.
Green has been up-and-down over the past two weeks, scoring 9, 15, 5, 10, 3, and 16 points over his past six games. Green is a valuable member of the Nuggets bench but simply isn't seeing enough playing time to offer consistent fantasy value. He belongs on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.
JaMychal Green came off the bench to score 15 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 3-pt, 2-2 FT) while pulling down nine rebounds in 28 minutes during a 114-104 win over the Warriors on Thursday night.
Surprisingly, Green has now made 2+ three-pointers in every game he has played this season while scoring in double-digits in six of eight games as well. The veteran forward has been a nice addition to the Denver bench unit and is worth looking at in 12-team formats for those in need of some rebounding and a little scoring. Just don't expect much defensive production as Green has yet to block a shot all season and has only recorded four steals as well (8 games).
Playing in just his third game of the season, Nuggets power forward JaMychal Green played well again on Tuesday, scoring 17 points (5-8 FG, 3-3 3-pt, 4-6 FT) with six rebounds, one assist, and no defensive stats in just 20 minutes of playing time.
That's back-to-back good games for Green who has hit eight three-pointers since his return, providing a much-needed scoring punch for the Denver bench. With that said, Michael Porter, Jr. (contact tracing protocol) is expected to return soon which will directly impact guys like Green and Will Barton. Green is not a recommended add in fantasy leagues for the time being.
Playing in just his second game of the season, veteran forward JaMychal Green provided a boost off the Nuggets bench on Sunday, scoring 14 points (5-10 FG. 3-8 3-pt, 1-2 FT) with five rebounds, three assists, two steals, and four turnovers in 27 minutes of action.
A close game entering the fourth quarter, the Nuggets bench unit of Green, Monte Morris, and Facundo Campazzo stepped up and helped the Nuggets pull away for a much-needed victory over the Timberwolves. With Michael Porter, Jr out of the lineup (contact tracing protocols) in the short-term, the Nuggets have been forced to rely more on their depth for the time being to replace MPJ's production. Green isn't a recommended add in fantasy leagues despite tonight's nice performance given the wealth of talent on Denver's roster and MPJ's looming return to the lineup.
Nuggets forward JaMychal Green (calf) is expected to play Friday versus the Suns.
Green has yet to appear in a game this for the Nuggets. With him expected to return on Friday, we could potentially see him absorb minutes from backup forwards Isaiah Hartenstein and Bol Bol.
