Although JaMychal Green didn't start for the Clippers, he did lead the way in minutes at the power forward and center positions. Green played 29 minutes scoring eight points on 3-of-6 shooting, with two made three-pointers, four rebounds, and a block.
Green should continue to see a larger role for the Clippers until Montrezl Harrell returns. Green did not capitalize on his opportunity, but did enough to earn another chance at 25 plus minutes. The Clippers seem to trust Green over Ivica Zubac and Marcus Morris, and Green has a higher fantasy ceiling than both of those players. If Harrell continues to miss games, Green is the only power forward or center worth considering in fantasy for the Clippers.
JaMychal Green will join the Clippers on Orlando by Sunday. He is currently tending to family matters.
Green will only miss a few days of practice and preparation. His late arrival should not affect any of the Clippers’ plans. Green provides solid minutes off the bench while averaging 6.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Depending on the status of Kawhi Leonard and Landry Shamet, Green could see a potential increase in minutes for the rest of the regular season. Come playoff time his minutes could go down.
JaMychal Green recorded 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while chipping in six rebounds and two assists over 24 minutes as the Clippers took care of the Rockets 120-105 on Thursday.
The 24 minutes were the most Green has played since February 9th and that can be attributed to the lopsidedness of this contest. The Clippers pretty much dominated from start to finish. Minutes have been hard to come by for Green ever since the Clips acquired Marcus Morris. He is, for all intents and purposes, a non-factor in fantasy leagues.
JaMychal Green provided 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and a block across 23 minutes in the Clippers' 124-97 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.
Green filled the stat sheet tonight and was one of three reserves to hit double figures. He's also knocked down a three-pointer in eight of his last ten games but despite the solid outing, he can be ignored in most fantasy formats.
JaMychal Green compiled six points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3PT, 2-6 FT), 10 rebounds, and two assists over 26 minutes of play off the bench Tuesday night.
Green continues to provide solid rebounding and occasional scoring off the bench for the Clippers but not consistently enough for consideration in most fantasy formats.
