JJ Hickson played five minutes in a win versus the 76ers on Monday night. He grabbed two rebounds and committed a turnover while missing his only shot of the game.
In case you were wondering, Hickson's lone shot was a three pointer. He is clean zero percent from three point range in his career. He can safely be ignored in fantasy leagues.
Newly signed J.J. Hickson will not play Friday for the Wizards. Hickson will be in uniform but is not ready to play.
Hickson provides the Wizards some frontcourt depth, but not much else. Markieff Morris, Nene, and Marcin Gortat sit above him on the depth chart making Hickson not roster-worthy in fantasy leagues at the moment.
J.J. Hickson recorded his second double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds in a 85-74 loss to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
Hickson was able to stay on the floor for 29 minutes and contribute both offensively and in the rebounds category. Hickson has been inconsistent this year and is not a viable fantasy option at this time.
Denver Nuggets PF J.J. Hickson scored 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting in a 108-104 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. He also recorded his first double-double on the year by pulling in 13 rebounds.
J.J Hickson was able to show his value to fantasy owners when he had the opportunity to play 30 minutes in Monday night's game. Hickson struggled with free throws early in the game, but knocked down some important free throws at the end to finish 5-of-11 from the charity stripe. Hickson may be worth holding on your bench as long as he can stay healthy and play meaningful minutes.
Hickson finished Wednesday's game against the 76ers with eight points (3-6 FG, 2-5 FT), six rebounds and one block.
Not a bad stat line from a bench player. Hickson has proven to be a solid player, with minutes, but he hasn't gotten enough of them to be productive. At the stage of the season, Hickson is nothing more than a player to watch in case of an injury.
