Justin Patton productive in Friday's loss

Justin Patton produced 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3PT), five rebounds, one assist, one block, three steals, and one turnover in 29 minutes during Friday's loss to the Jazz.

Fantasy Impact

Patton has been seeing heavy minutes due to all of the injuries in Houston and has been a reliable streamer for those who picked him up. He's managed to compile 2.8 steals and 1.0 block per game over his last four and is poised to handle extra minutes on Sunday if Christian Wood is unable to return.

Justin Patton swipes four steals Wednesday

Justin Patton chipped in 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3PT), six rebounds, four assists, one block, and four steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Nets.

Fantasy Impact

Playing the Nets, the Rockets decided to go small-ball, which in turn forced Patton back to the bench Despite this, he managed to have his most productive game of the season, coming away with 10 points, six rebounds, and four steals, With Houston now heading into the All-Star break, it's possible that Christian Wood returns for their next game, Patton's moment in fantasy relevance could be coming to an end.

Justin Patton stands out on defense Monday

Justin Patton produced six points (2-7 FG, 1-5 3PT, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and three steals in 32 minutes during Monday's loss to the Cavaliers.

Fantasy Impact

Patton started once again and held his own in a tough matchup against Jarrett Allen. He held the up and coming big man to just 10 points and came up with two blocks and three steals. Patton is the only healthy big man on the Rockets roster while Christian Wood is out, so he should continue to see heavy minutes for the foreseeable future. He gets a plus matchup on Wednesday against the Nets.

Justin Patton a bright spot for Rockets on Sunday

Justin Patton finished with 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3PT), five rebounds, two blocks, and two turnovers in 26 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Grizzlies.

Fantasy Impact

Patton made his first career start and was a lone bright spot for the Rockets on a historically dreadful day. While he won't serve much value when Christian Wood comes back, he should be watched for the next few games as he has the talent to produce solid numbers in multiple stat categories. He'll look to keep up the stellar play in Monday's game against the Cavaliers.

Justin Patton swats three shots in 21 minutes Monday

Justin Patton chipped in four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3PT), six rebounds, and three blocks in 21 minutes off the bench during Monday's blowout loss to the Bulls.

Fantasy Impact

The 23-year old inked a two-way deal with the Rockets on Friday and was immediately thrust into the rotation in Monday's loss. Standing at 6'11", he could continue to see meaningful minutes for as long as Christian Wood remains sidelined and DeMarcus Cousins is out. His lengthy wingspan will help him average a solid amount of blocks, as evidenced by his three rejections in just 21 minutes on Monday. He could hold some short-term value in deeper leagues but isn't quite worth an add in 10 or 12 team leagues at the moment. He'll look to continue getting acclimated to his new team in Wednesday's tilt against the Cavaliers.
