Jusuf Nurkic scored just 10 points and had seven rebounds during the Trailblazer's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. Nurkic also had three assists in the game.
Nurkic is a talented offensive player, but has now struggled in back to back games against the Lakers. Nurkic has a very tough matchup against Anthony Davis and did get in to foul trouble with five in the game 3 loss. Nurkic may continue to struggle in this series as Davis just looks like too much for him to handle.
Jusuf Nurkic provided nine points (4-10 FG) with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one three-pointer across 29 minutes in a Game 2 loss on Thursday to the Lakers.
Nurkic didn't have it tonight, getting abused by Anthony Davis and seemingly becoming a non-factor in Thursday's blowout loss. He's disappeared for a couple of games in the Bubble, but despite those couple of instances, he'd been one of the better frontcourt players in Orlando thus far. DFS players should consider this output an anomaly and should look forward to Nurkic regaining his confidence in Game 3 on Saturday.
Jusuf Nurkic posted 16 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3PT, 7-9 FT), 15 rebounds, and three assists over 33 minutes of play Tuesday.
Nurkic has been a model of consistency since returning from last season's brutal leg injury when the restart began. He's averaged a double-double and is about as safe as it gets for playoff fantasy lineups.

Nurkic played an incredible game despite having his Grandmother pass away from COVID-19, just before the play-in game. Nurkic has looked great during the NBA restart averaging 17.6 points and 10.3 rebounds. Nurkic could have a more difficult time moving forward though, as he will match up against Anthony Davis when Portland plays the Los Angeles Lakers, during the first round of playoffs.
Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic is warming up and is expected to play Saturday against the Grizzlies despite the passing of his grandmother a short time ago from COVID-19.
Nurkic announced on Instagram that his grandmother recently passed away from coronavirus. He’s going to try and give it a go despite a very heavy heart due to the circumstances. He’ll matchup with Grizzlies C Jonas Valanciunas, in what should be a great matchup between two very skilled big men. This game should be a good one, but we understand what Nurkic is dealing with and wish him and his family well during this tough time.
