Hayes found his way into the starting lineup on Sunday with Cade Cunningham (knee) unavailable to play, but he wasn't able to make much out of his opportunities. He ended the day with just two points, and he had the worst +/- out of anyone on the team at -9. He shouldn't be started outside of several key injuries in Detroit's starting lineup moving forward.

Hayes, despite playing over 25 minutes on Wednesday, took just four shots in the team's loss to the Timberwolves. He ended up making all of them and ended up facilitating eight assists, which was good for the most on the team and helped him to not be a complete bust from a fantasy perspective. His playing time is good right now, but until his offensive involvement gets better, fantasy managers should be looking to start other players who carry more upside.
