Killian Hayes opts out of German League tourney
A source told ESPN that Killian Hayes will not participate in the Bundesliga's three-week tournament to close out their season in late June.
Hayes, an 18-year old international prospect from France, is projected to be a top-10 selection on draft night. Hayes is listed as the number 9 prospect on ESPN's top 100 list and has drawn comparisons to James Harden for his ball-handling, playmaking, and shooting abilities. Hayes is currently stateside in Lakeland, Florida where is he preparing for the NBA Draft with his father who played professionally in France for 13 seasons. Standing at 6'5 and 215 pounds, Hayes averaged 11.6 points, 5.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 24.8 minutes per game this season for the German club Ratiopharm Ulm.
