Paul Reed finished with 26 points (11-11 FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and three steals in Sunday's win over the Pacers.
Fantasy Impact
What an outstanding all-around performance from Reed, who got a start in place of All-Star Jalen Duren (knee). Reed did not miss a single shot from the field or free-throw line, leading all scorers in the game. The six-year vet also got it done on the defensive side, swatting three shots and coming up with three steals.
Paul Reed scored 10 points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3P, 2-4 FT) with seven rebounds, two steals, and a block in the Pistons' 116-93 win over the Sixers on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
Reed has been scoring in double-digits in four of his last five games, but his low ceiling is a bit of a deterrent to starting him, even if his rebounding and defensive stats are fairly steady. Low upside is not what we want in fantasy at this point of the season.
Reed was the only Pistons player to reach 20 points Monday, finishing with 21 points (7-of-13 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), 10 rebounds, four blocks, two assists, one steal, and one three-pointer in the overtime loss to the Thunder.
Fantasy Impact
Leading the team in blocks alongside a double-double in the starting lineup is exactly the kind of across-the-board performance that makes him worth rostering in the final stretch of the fantasy season.
Paul Reed scored 18 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3PT, 4-4 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks in the Pistons 126-111 win over the Knicks.
Fantasy Impact
With both Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart suspended, Reed joined the starting lineup for Detroit. He wound up giving the Pistons 29 solid minutes. With Duren suspended six more games and Stewart suspended one more game, Reed should see at least one more spot start.
Paul Reed scored 22 points (10-17 FG, 1-2 3PT, 1-2 FT) and added five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and four blocks in Detroit's win over Toronto on Wednesday night.
Fantasy Impact
Reed, who stepped in for the suspended Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart, scored at least 20 points in a game for the second time this season and has now reached double figures in three straight games. Reed has made seven starts this season and is averaging 13.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.6 blocks in those games. With Duren out one more game - and Stewart out for six more contests - Reed will definitely be a streaming option in Detroit's first game following the break next Thursday against the Knicks.
