Ricky Rubio tallied 18 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3PT, 1-3 FT), six assists, one steal, and one turnover in Sunday's loss to the Knicks.
Fantasy Impact
Rubio had an off night last game against the Raptors, but has otherwise filled in very nicely for D'Angelo Russell. He's been able to score in double figures in four of the last five contests, though his assist totals could climb back up, as he averages only five dimes across his past two games. Rubio will get the Bucks on Tuesday night.
Ricky Rubio tallied 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3PT, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, eight assists, and two turnovers in Tuesday night's loss to the Lakers.
Fantasy Impact
With D'Angelo Russell set to miss the next 4-6 weeks of action, Rubio essentially becomes a must-add in all formats. He has showcased his ability to score buckets and dish out dimes when given sufficient minutes, especially when Russell has been inactive. Rubio will look to build on this performance on Wednesday when the Wolves take on the Pacers.
Ricky Rubio contributed 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-8 3PT), one board, and five assists in Sunday night's victory against the Raptors.
Fantasy Impact
This was actually the first game since December 29th where Rubio scored in double-figures. It was a nice night for him, especially since the Wolves snapped their four-game losing streak. Rubio is only worth rostering in deeper formats as an assist specialist.
Ricky Rubio recorded nine points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3PT, 7-10 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and four turnovers in Saturday night's win against New Orleans.
Fantasy Impact
Rubio got the starting nod after D'Angelo Russell was surprisingly given the night off. Despite taking only four shots, he produced a nice-looking stat line, and likely could've registered a triple-double had he seen more time on the court. Back with the Wolves where he began his NBA career, Rubio is no longer a realistic fantasy option as long as D'Angelo Russell is active.
Timberwolves PG Ricky Rubio (health & safety protocols) is available to play Saturday night vs. the Pelicans but will be limited to 24-28 minutes in his second game back from health & safety protocols.
Fantasy Impact
With D’Angelo Russell (rest) out for this one vs. the Pelicans, it’ll be Rubio most likely getting the start with Jordan McLaughlin operating as the backup point guard. Expect a pretty even split between the two guards Saturday night. McLaughlin makes for an intriguing DFS target at just $3,700 on DraftKings.
