Ricky Rubio notched 19 points (8-14 FG, 3-8 3PT), three rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block, and two turnovers in Tuesday's win over the Pistons.
Rubio has scored in double figures in three straight games now, averaging 17.7 points on 54.1% shooting from the field. Head coach Chris Finch deploying both D'Angelo Russell and Rubio in the starting lineup appears to be paying dividends, as they've been productive in these final games of the season. The Wolves will host the Nuggets on Thursday night.
Ricky Rubio accounted for 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3PT, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and three turnovers in Friday's loss to Miami.
Rubio drew the start tonight, and played alongside D'Angelo Russell in the Wolves' loss to the Heat. While he played fairly well, he's been very difficult to depend on since the return of Russell. It'll be interesting to see if head coach Chris Finch keeps him in the first unit for next game in Orlando.
Ricky Rubio racked up 26 points (7-13 FG, 5-8 3PT, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, six assists, and two steals in Thursday's win versus Golden State.
Coming off a string of empty stat lines, Rubio rebounded in a huge way tonight, dropping a season-high 26 points en route to a double-digit victory over Stephen Curry and the Warriors. Fantasy managers who kept him in their lineups must've felt great, though it's difficult to recommend holding onto him due to his volatility. In addition, D'Angelo Russell had a rare off night scoring the ball, so he should bounce back pretty easily.
Ricky Rubio was held to two points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3PT), five boards, four assists, three steals, and one turnover in Monday's victory versus the Jazz.
Rubio has struggled in his last two games, scoring a combined four points on 1-of-11 shooting from the field. He has generally been a serviceable player in deeper formats, but may need to be sent to the waiver wire if this slump persists. It certainly doesn't help that D'Angelo Russell has been heating up as of late.
Ricky Rubio compiled 17 points (6-13 FG, 5-6 3PT), four rebounds, nine assists, and one steal in Sunday's win over the Bulls.
Rubio was able to generate a rock-solid performance alongside D'Angelo Russell tonight. His five treys accounted for a new season-high. He should have nice games like this one every now and then, but is difficult to trust in 12-team leagues with Russell's minutes on the rise.
