Terance Mann logged 25 points (8-12 FG, 1-3 3PT, 8-13 FT), 14 rebounds, nine assists, and two steals in Friday's 107-103 overtime win over the Thunder.
Mann led the team in points, rebounds, and assists. He logged 42 minutes after averaging just 8.0 during the regular season. With Paul George taking the night off, Mann did his best impression and had the most exciting game of his rookie season. He came up one assist shy of getting his first career triple-double, but the FSU product showed that he can be an asset during the playoffs and may have earned himself a few more minutes going forward.
Terance Mann underwent hand surgery in March and said he is back “full time, full contact”. His role would be very minimal once the NBA restarts.
Mann has not played much this season. He is averaging 7.7 minutes, 1.6 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. Since he is coming back from injury, his role will likely decrease.
Terance Mann had been dealing with the nagging injury for quite some time before re-aggravating it back on March 8th in a G-League game.
As of right now there is no timetable for his return but a six-week recovery time is typical for these types of injuries. Despite the surgery and lengthy recovery he won't miss any playing as the G-League season was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mann has plenty of time to get right before next season as he'll attempt to crack the Clippers loaded roster.
Terance Mann has been assigned to the Agua Caliente Clippers, the Los Angeles Clippers G-League affiliate.
Fellow rookie Mfiondu Kabengele was also shipped off to Agua Caliente. Mann had been averaging nine minutes a game this season but hasn't done much as far as counting stats go. These rosters move are a likely sign that Lou Williams and Patrick Beverley are healthy are ready to play Tuesday against the Suns.
Terance Mann got the spot start on Friday in place of the injured Patrick Beverley but finished with zero points in 18 minutes. Mann added three assists, two rebounds, and one block.
Mann isn't more than a punt play in DFS if Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams both miss Saturday's game. Derrick Walton is a better option in DFS.
