Terrence Ross scores 12 points in return to action

Terrence Ross scored 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting, two three-pointers, two rebounds, and one steal in 19 minutes off the bench as the Magic lost to the Pacers on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Ross had missed the last two games and was a game-time decision on Sunday but was able to play. The 28-year-old is off to a slow start this season averaging just 8.8 points on 32.5% shooting over eight games for the year.

Terrence Ross (knee) will play on Sunday

Terrence Ross will play on Sunday against the Indiana Pacers after missing the past two games with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact

Ross will be a risky DFS option in his first game back from a knee injury but he could take some value from Evan Fournier.

Terrence Ross (knee) doubtful Friday

Terrence Ross is doubtful Friday, while dealing with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact

Ross has missed one game already due to the injury, though his absence won’t be particularly notable for fantasy purposes. The eight-year vet has averaged just 8.3 points, 3.3 boards and 1.1 triples per contest while shooting a pitiful 28.2 percent from the floor and 19.0 percent from three.

Fantasy Impact

Terrance Ross struggles with shot in Friday's loss

Terrance Ross scored 11 points (4-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), with two rebounds, an assist and a steal in 20 minutes during Friday's 123-91 loss to the Bucks.

Fantasy Impact

Ross was able to top double-digits for the third time this year, but also shot an inefficient 26.6 percent from the field. Through five games, he's made just 14-of-57 shots from the field and 6-of-35 attempts from downtown. Ross' role and volume have remained similar to last years breakout campaign and once he's able to get his shot back on track, he should be able average 15.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 threes he averaged a season ago. The Magic's next scheduled game is Saturday, home against the Nuggets.
