Terry Rozier (illness) is expected to play in Thursday's game against the Chicago Bulls.
Rozier wasn't listed on Charlotte's initial injury report, but he has since been added because of a non-covid illness of some kind. The injury isn't considered serious, and he should be good to go against the Bulls on Thursday night.
Terry Rozier carried the Hornets on Friday to the tune of 39 points (15-29 FG, 6-15 3P, 3-4 FT) two rebounds, four assists, and a steal over 34 minutes in a Charlotte 138-109 win over Milwaukee.
Rozier easily set a season-high in scoring against the Bucks, and he did it while shooting a sublime 51.7% from the field. He had the green light to shoot all night, and carried Charlotte to a stunning blowout victory. Rozier has caught fire since the calendar flipped over, averaging 29.0 PPG in his first three games of 2023. He should be able to keep it going against an exploitable Pacers' defense on Sunday.
Terry Rozier is available on Friday against the Lakers.
Rozier is set to return from his two-game absence. His return should send Kelly Oubre back to his reserve role. Oubre is still rostering for fantasy managers. He will still have a role off the bench and is a near must stream when he starts.
Terry Rozier (hip) is questionable to play in Charlotte's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.
A hip injury will leave Rozier's status for Friday night up in the air. He's missed two-straight games because of it, so it's hard to say if he's trending towards playing or sitting. Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) and Theo Maledon would both be in line for more work if the veteran is ruled out against the Lakers.
Terry Rozier has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.
Rozier was listed as doubtful and will miss his second straight game. Kelly Oubre should remain in the starting lineup for Charlotte coming off a 31 point performance in his last game.
