Hachimura will return to action Tuesday against the Hawks but will operate under a "severe minutes restriction" and come off the bench, Lakers head coach JJ Redick told Jovan Buha of The Athletic. The forward has been sidelined for six consecutive games due to a right calf strain. Although cleared to suit up Monday against the Kings, Los Angeles held him out of the 124-112 loss to preserve him for the second night of the back-to-back set.
Fantasy Impact
Jake LaRavia currently occupies the starting forward spot for the Lakers. Hachimura's minutes will be closely monitored Tuesday as he works his way back from the calf injury that has kept him out since early January.
