Golden Tate fails to shine against former team

Golden Tate caught 3 of 5 targets against Seattle on Saturday night for 25 receiving yards. He had one carry but did not gain any yardage.
Fantasy Impact:
It was a tough night for Matthew Stafford and all of his receivers but Tate made issues worse with a couple drops early in the game. That said, his season was ultimately relatively successful as Tate cleared the thousand yard mark for the second time in three years put together a third consecutive season of 90 or more receptions. While the relatively undersized receiver isn't much of a touchdown maker, he does offer solid flex value in standard leagues and is a useful WR2 PPR option as Matt Stafford's favorite target. Without the post-Calvin Johnson hype in 2017, Tate should be looked at in the third to fifth rounds in redraft leagues in the upcoming fantasy season.
