Darrelle Revis being released by Jets

ESPN's Adam Caplan is reporting the New York Jets informed defensive back Darrelle Revis that they are releasing him. (Adam Caplan on TWitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Just weeks after Revis was arrested in Pittsburgh, the Jets are moving on from the troubled and aging cornerback. Revis, 31, is coming off of one of his worst seasons as a pro in 2016 in which he showed signs of diminishing play. Revis could linger on the open market for a while this offseason, especially due to his recent off the field issues.
