Dial steps up as impact player in preseason debut

Already looking good in training camp, Quinton Dial made the most of his opportunity in the teams Thursday night matchup against the Ravens. Dial recorded 10 tackles, as well as forcing a fumble from Bernard Pierce and Justin Forsett each. (49ers.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Not bad for a player who wasn't necessarily expected to start for the Niners this season. Dial is one of the players expected to step up big in the absence of NT Glenn Dorsey, and Thursday was a nice preview of his potential. If he is able to translate preseason success to the regular season, he should help keep the Niners defense a top 5 unit in 2014
