Jermaine Kearse leads Jets receivers in targets for third straight week
by Mike Esposito | Mon, Nov 27th 11:00am EST
Jermaine Kearse caught seven of 11 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown in the Jets’ Week 12 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy Impact:
Kearse exploded for a season high in receiving yards against the Panthers Sunday afternoon, recording over 70 yards receiving for the first time since Week 6. Despite having a great day, fantasy owners shouldn’t read too much into Kearse’s performance. It’s unlikely that he’ll continue to have similar outings going forward now that Robby Anderson is firmly entrenched as the number one option in the Jets’ passing attack, but Kearse sees more than enough targets to be considered a boom-bust FLEX play in PPR leagues for desperate fantasy owners.
