Ameer Abdullah only had six carries for 21 yards and one reception for five yards in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. He had the fewest carries out of Detroit's three backs.
Abdullah seems like he's on his way out of Detroit, provided his limited usage these past few games hasn't merely been out of concern for his health. It will be interesting to see how the team handles what appears to be impending turnover at many coaching positions, and how that will affect Abdullah's long-term prospects in the league. With nothing to play for next week, the Lions will probably want to get a closer look at rookie Tion Green, who has shown much more promise than Abdullah.
