Tavon Austin to get "one or two" dozen touches per game

During a post-draft press conference, Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones said that they plan to get newly-acquired scat-back Tavon Austin "one or two dozen touches per game."

Fantasy Impact:

This is laughable on multiple levels, as it seems the Cowboys are falling into the same Tavon Austin trap that Jeff Fisher did for so long, only they're taking it a step further. While the Cowboys have a lack of offensive weapons, it wouldn't surprise us to see them try and work-in some plays specifically designed for Austin, but it's hard to imagine him touching the ball more than 7-10 times per game. He's nothing more than a late-round flier in best-ball leagues, as he's likely to have more of a role than most care to admit.
