Victor Bolden suspended four games for violating league's PED policy

by Jody Smith | Fri, Jun 1st 4:29pm EDT

Second-year 49ers wide receiver Victor Bolden has been suspended for the first four games of the 2018 NFL season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. Bolden issued a statement, saying "Unknowingly, I used a supplement that was on the NFL's banned substance list. As a professional athlete, I take full responsibility for not verifying the ingredients of the supplement." (Adam Schefter via twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

An undrafted free agent out of Oregon State last season, Bolden was active for nine games but played just 28 snaps on offense without registering a catch. Mainly a special-teamer, Bolden will have a difficult time making San Francisco's roster and won't be eligible to play anywhere until Week 5.
