Atlanta Falcons middle linebacker Deion Jones will be sent to injured reserve with a foot injury sustained in Week One versus Philadelphia. He will be eligible to return in Week Ten. In-house candidate rookie linebacker Foyesade Oluokun is a likely replacement. (nfl.com)
IDP owners may be missing the production of Deion jones for the next nine weeks, and as it is for Atlanta, it is a hard hit for fantasy owners. A player to watch is Foyesade Oluokun, who may get his shot at the starting lineup. He was trending before an ankle injury and competing with a struggling Duke Riley in the preseason. The sixth-round rookie out of Yale just might find himself in the thick of things as soon as this coming weekend. IDP owners may want to get him on their radars as soon as possible.
