Orlando Scandrick signs with Eagles

The Eagles have signed free agent cornerback Orlando Scandrick to a one-year deal, the team announced on Sunday. (Philadelphia Eagles on Twitter)

The Eagles have several cornerbacks on their roster but are dealing with a number of injuries, so Scandrick should be able to compete for a roster spot and playing time. Philadelphia just lost CreVon LeBlanc to a foot sprain, while starters Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills are both recovering from injuries they suffered last season. Scandrick joins Rasul Douglas, Sidney Jones, and Avonte Maddox as the healthy cornerbacks in Philadelphia.
