Melvin Gordon to return for Week 1?

Chargers beat writer Eric Williams is reporting that he has a "hunch" that RB Melvin Gordon will end his holdout in time for Week 1. (Eric Williams on Twitter)

In his latest roster projection, Williams suggests that Gordon will return in time for Week 1, ending his holdout. However, considering the lack of leverage on the rusher's end, the fact that Chargers brass isn't really known to budge in these situations and the reality of missed game checks, I can see where the beat writer's hunch is coming from. Gordon's ADP has plummeted to a fringe fourth-round pick, making him one of the greatest values in a fantasy draft, especially if he misses little to no time.
