Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner recorded seven tackles (four solo) with one pass defensed in Sunday’s 28-26 win over the Steelers.
It was another solid performance by the veteran who kicked off the season with eight tackles (seven solo) last week. The Seattle defense was able to fend off a Steelers offense that saw quarterback Ben Roethlisberger exit the game in the first half due to an elbow injury. Backup Mason Rudolph led two fourth quarter touchdown drives, but it wasn’t quite enough. It could be a similar situation in Week 3, as the Saints, who could be without quarterback Drew Brees, come to town. Wagner will remain in the conversation to be among the top-five IDP options.
