Rodney McLeod agrees to two-year deal to return to Eagles

Safety Rodney McLeod and the Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a two-year contract, the team announced on Tuesday. NFL insider Ian Rapoport adds that the deal is worth $12 million over two years. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

With the Eagles holding a contract option on Malcolm Jenkins while McLeod was hitting free agency, many assumed that Jenkins would return and McLeod would leave. However, the team announced earlier on Tuesday that they had re-signed cornerback Jalen Mills, who would be moving to safety, and would not be picking up the option on Jenkins. That left the door open for McLeod to return, and the Eagles are apparently set to open up training camp with Mills and McLeod as their two starting safeties.
