Chris Carson progressing well from injury, should be a ‘full-go’ for camp

Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll is optimistic that RB Chris Carson will be fully recovered from the hip injury prior to the beginning of the upcoming season. (ProFootballTalk on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Carson injured his hip late last year, but not before he put up a monster fantasy season in 15 games. He rushed for 1,230 yards on 278 carries (4.4 avg.) and seven TDs, to go along with 37 receptions for another 266 yards and two TDs. Carson has really come into his own these past two seasons, racking up over 1,000 yards on the ground in both. The former 2017 7th-round pick out of Oklahoma State is always out to prove the doubters wrong, and there’s no doubt he’ll look to do so again in 2020 as he comes back from the hip injury. Even with the looming presence of backfield mate Rashaad Penny, who is also making progress from a torn ACL he suffered last year, Carson is poised for another great fantasy season in a run-heavy offense lead by OC Brian Schottenheimer. He’s currently ranked #16 in FantasyPros consensus RB rankings, cementing him as an RB2.
