Ronald Jones is expected to be the starting RB for the Buccaneers, per Jenna Laine of ESPN. (ESPN )
Jones has been adding muscle and working on his receiving skills in preparation of taking a larger workload this season. Rookie RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn will be in the mix for carries as well, but is expected to backup Jones. The 22-year-old could lose ground if he fails to impress or struggle with pass blocking. Jones is gaining momentum as a fantasy sleeper in 2020 and is currently 33rd among all running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings. He finished the 2019 campaign, logging 172 carries for 724 rushing yards along with 31 catches for 309 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games.
