Travis Kelce signs four-year extension with Chiefs

by Dave Kluge | Chiefs Correspondent | Thu, Aug 13th 3:07pm EDT

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs have agreed to a four-year extension worth $57.25M ($28M guaranteed) that will keep Kelce in Kansas City through the next six seasons. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have been a lethal combo the last couple of seasons and the Chiefs want to build around that for years to come. Kelce, now 30 years old, is the only tight end in NFL history to have four consecutive seasons of 1,000+ yards. While this shouldn't affect Kelce's draft value in redraft leagues, knowing that Mahomes will be throwing to him for the next six years gives him a significant boost in dynasty leagues.
