Fantasy Impact:

Fournette spends just over 24 hours as a free agent before landing with the Buccaneers. He’ll join a crowded backfield with Ronald Jones II, LeSean McCoy, Dare Ogunbowale, and Ke’Shawn Vaughn. The signing comes the same day head coach Bruce Arians talked about Jones as a “true workhorse” and “three-down” back, so it comes as a bit of a surprise to see Fournette land in Tampa Bay. From a fantasy perspective, this backfield now has avoid written all over it. Fournette and Jones could both provide RB3 value, and one could certainly take the lead in the backfield and become a RB2, but it’s a big unknown now heading into the regular season.
