Jared Goff scores twice in Rams' TNF win over Patriots'

Jared Goff completed 16-of-25 passes for 137 yards to go along with one touchdown and one interception during the Rams' 24-3 dismantling of the Patriots' on Thursday Night Football.
Fantasy Impact:
Goff wasn't asked to do much with the Rams' playing with a lead for much of the game. As a result, Cam Akers led the charge for the offense, totaling 194 yards on 31 total touches. Goff's two scores were good enough to salvage some bit of fantasy relevance from Thursday's performance, but fantasy managers have to disappointed. With Akers' blossoming before our eyes and the defense playing elite football, Goff may not be asked to do as much throughout the fantasy playoffs, leaving him more in the QB2 conversation. He does get a good matchup in Week 15, however, as the Rams' play host to the Jets' in 10 days.
