Drew Brees plays what is likely last game in Divisional Round loss

by Dave Kluge | Sun, Jan 17th 10:01pm EST

Drew Brees lost in what is believed to be his final game in the NFL. He completed 19 of 32 passes for 134 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. He added two rushes for three yards in the 30-20 loss to the Bucs.

Fantasy Impact:

The 42-year-old veteran quarterback struggled against the swarming Bucs defense. He completed just 55.9% of his passes and threw three interceptions. The Saints turned the ball over four times but still kept the game somewhat competitive, mostly due to Alvin Kamara's grinding and a 56-yard trick play touchdown toss from Jameis Winston. Brees will retire with a litany of passing records and a Super Bowl championship. With Winston just being on a one-year contract, it's likely that Taysom Hill is the Week 1 starter in 2021.
