When Smith quarterbacked the Washington Football Team in 2020, he led the team to a 5-1 record while throwing for 1582 yards and six touchdowns. With Mitch Trubisky's impending free agency on the horizon for the Bears, the veteran QB makes a lot of sense. Smith's style of play fits well for the Bears in their read and react, RPO style offense.
