The Los Angeles Chargers have selected TE Tre’ McKitty with the No. 97 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. (Around the NFL on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
McKitty is a potential replacement for Hunter Henry, who signed with the Patriots this offseason. He has strong hands and the ability to make tough catches in traffic. The Georgia product has the receiving skills and gives star QB Justin Herbert another pass-catching option. McKitty is expected to backup Jared Cook in 2021 but could be the Chargers starting TE in 2022 and beyond.
