Mike Hughes: Vikings to decline fifth-year option

Fantasy Impact:
Hughes has dealt with significant injuries throughout his tenure in Minnesota, playing in just four games during the 2020 season. The cornerback out of UCF enters his fourth year in Minnesota with just 80 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and two interceptions as his career totals. Vikings' head coach Mike Zimmer signed free-agent and former Arizona Cardinals All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson during free agency to add experience and strengthen one of the league's worst defensive units from a year ago. Minnesota wound up allowing 258.8 passing yards per game in 2020, ranking eighth-worst in the league.
