The 2021 No. 1 overall pick, Trevor Lawerence, signed a four-year, $36.8 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars that includes a standard fifth-year rookie option and $24.1 million in guaranteed money. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
The good news here is that there will be no holdout for Lawrence, and he will get all the work needed to learn a new offense in Jacksonville. Lawerence is the unquestioned starter for the Jaguars. He was a superstar in college with a championship pedigree. The team has surrounded him with young, dynamic playmakers, and he's a good runner who can score touchdowns in goal-line situations. He should be a meaningful fantasy player from his first start and is now the face of football in Jacksonville.
