Browns Select Xavier Cooper with the 96th overall pick

The Cleveland Browns have selected DT Xavier Cooper from Washington St. with the 96th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. The Browns traded up with the Patriots for this pick. The Browns received the 96th and the 219th picks while the Patriots received 111th, 147th, and 202nd.
Fantasy Impact:
Xavier Cooper is the latest draft pick by the Browns to compete for a starting role on their defensive line. He has very active hands and great knack for disengaging and finding the football. Cooper was a former basketball letter winner so his foot quickness and overall athleticism are above average. The Browns have invested 3 of their 5 picks on the defensive side of the ball, but it is yet to be determined if those picks will result in a fantasy relevant DST.
