New England Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers is looking like the most consistent wide receiver throughout the team's training camp thus far, per beat writer Jeff Howe. (Jeff Howe of The Athletic)
Fantasy Impact:
Meyers emerged as a notable wide receiver during his second season in the league in 2020, improving his reception percentage from 63.4% in 2019 to 72.8% last season. Despite turning 81 targets into 59 receptions for 729 yards, Meyers failed to find the end zone, which means touchdown regression will assuredly follow in 2021. As the current WR70 in half-PPR formats, Meyers is a great late-round flier value and could become the heaviest targeted player for the Patriots, whether Cam Newton or Mac Jones win the starting quarterback job.
