Ruggs was involved in a car accident early Tuesday morning and was subsequently charged with felony charges of DUI resulting in death and reckless driving. Ruggs was transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Through seven games, the 22-year-old wideout had caught 24 of his 36 targets for 469 yards and two touchdowns, but the Raiders are moving on from the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in the wake of Tuesday's accident.
