Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) is reportedly dealing with a new ankle issue that popped up recently, and he is now without a definitive timeline to return to action. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Thomas was slated to come off the PUP list last week, but that didn’t happen. Now he’s dealing with a new ankle issue that had him seeing a specialist recently. Part of the reason why the Saints were looking for wide receiver help at that trade deadline was because of Thomas’ new injury. It’s unclear when/if he’ll return this season, but this is certainly worrisome for fantasy managers who were holding out hope for his eventual return.
