San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel hauled in 9-of-11 targets for 159 receiving yards while adding five carries for 32 yards on the ground in a 20-17 loss to the Titans on Thursday.
Samuel looked like his old self on Thursday, primarily being used as a receiver as opposed to a running back. He went over 100 yards receiving for the first time since Week 8 while leading the Niners in targets, catches, and yards. He was held out of the end zone for the first time in six weeks but he made up for it with a ton of yards after the catch. He also averaged a rock-solid 6.4 yards/carry on five totes and should continue to see production both as a rusher and a receiver in next week's matchup with the lowly Texans.
