Deebo Samuel caught five passes for 87 yards and a touchdown as San Francisco beat the Cincinnati Bengals 41-17 in Week 2.

Samuel also rushed twice for seven yards. The rookie was featured throughout the 49ers' game-plan in this one and started over Dante Pettis for the second straight week. Samuel saw seven targets today and is probably worth picking up in most fantasy leagues. The 49ers host the Steelers in Week 3.

Samuel's three targets were tied for second on the team behind George Kittle (10). Samuel also converted a two-point conversion in this one. Ultimately the 23-year-old rookie is best viewed as a dynasty stash right now.

Samuel flashed a lot of promise at times this preseason, and it's conceivable he could windup the third receiver alongside Dante Pettis and Marquise Goodwin. It'll be important to monitor his Week 1 usage.

Samuel likely finishes the preseason with four catches for 88 yards. He also received two carries for 59 yards. Marquise Goodwin and Dante Pettis are projected to open the year as starters, but Samuel will undoubtedly get an opportunity to prove himself early on.

Samuel wasn't targeted in the passing game but did look good on a 45-yard end around that set up a Jeff Wilson rushing score. The rookie wideout has reportedly been impressing throughout camp. Hopefully we see some big things from him in next week's regular season dress rehearsal.
