No #1 Wide Receiver in Eagles' Offense?

by Phil Falvo | Thu, May 28th 10:56am EDT

According to second-year wide receiver Jordan Matthews, the Eagles' Offense doesn't require a true No. 1 wide receiver. Rather, Matthews believes the offense is based on putting multiple weapons on the field and creating mismatches. (Eliot Shorr-Parks via NJ.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Coach Kelly has some serious production to replace after the Eagles cut DeSean Jackson in the 2014 offseason and let Jeremy Maclin walk this past offseason. In 2014, Maclin caught 85 passes for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns, while Matthews caught 67 passes for 872 yards and eight touchdowns. With more catches, yards and touchdowns, it's obvious that Maclin occupied the No. 1 role. With his departure and the selection of highly talented USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor in the first round, Chip Kelly is clearly looking to replace Maclin's production. Keep an eye on OTAs and training camp to see who steps up. Update your draft boards accordingly.
