Danial Jones will not have his fifth-year option picked up by the Giants, according to Judy Battista. (Judy Battista of NFL.com on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jones will now be in a contract year, and if he plays well could be a candidate to be franchise tagged by the Giants after the year. If he doesn't play well, the team will likely move on, and let him test free agency while looking to the draft for their next quarterback.
