For the third year in a row, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen didn't appear in any preseason games. He'll be ready to go for the start of the regular season.
Allen projects to be one of Justin Herbert's favorite targets once again this year. Last season, the 10-year veteran caught a career-high 106 passes for 1,138 yards and six touchdowns. Allen has logged six touchdowns in four of the last five seasons, so it's safe to pencil him in for a similar amount this year. The five-time Pro Bowler will cede some scores to fellow star wideout Mike Williams, but still figures to be the more consistent weekly option.
