Ronald Jones II asks for release on Twitter

Kansas City Chiefs RB Ronald Jones II tweeted out that he would like to be released. Jones has not played a regular season snap this season. (Ronald Jones II on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jones has yet to see the field in Kansas City after joining the team from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason. Jones fell out of favor during the preseason and has only fallen further behind the RB rotation. The Chiefs entered the season with a crowded backfield with RBs Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon, and the emergence of rookie RB Isiah Pacheco didn’t help either. Even if Jones were released, it’s hard to see him significantly factoring into any backfields this season after falling below expectations to this extent in Kansas City.
