Lamar Jackson expected to receive franchise tag

According to Ian Rapoport, QB Lamar Jackson is expected to receive the exclusive franchise tag from the Baltimore Ravens for the 2023 season. (Doc Kleiman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The exclusive tag locks Jackson out of free agency in 2023, as the two sides have failed to come to terms on a deal to this point. Jackson, who represents himself, played in 12 games in 2022, going 8-4 with 3,016 all-purpose yards. Jackson’s status in Baltimore is not certain, though, as the two sides still must agree to terms on a deal and Jackson could always threaten a hold out.
